Our COVID-19 team members are required at the minimum to be certified in blood borne pathogens and the proper donning and removal of Personal Protective Equipment.
Since our beginning, we have always only used disinfectants deemed effective against viruses like COVID-19 by the Environmental Protection Agency’s Emerging Pathogen Standard. US Metro Group was here long before COVID-19 and we are experts in COVID-19 response. We have the knowledge and expertise to answer all of your questions and find a solution that is specifically tailored for you.
Our COVID-19 response team consists of in house and outside experts in cleaning, safety, field operations and hygiene and infection prevention to maintain the new standard of cleanliness.
US Metro Group’s team, technologies, and procedures are here to help you meet the stringent requirements to keep buildings and institutions clean and safe, especially during this pandemic.
As part of our efforts to keep not only our clients and employees, but also the community at large, safe during the time of this pandemic, we thought we’d share some important information about preventative measures everyone should know.
Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash
them with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Maintain at least 6 feet of distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing
or sneezing.
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.
Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This
means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you
cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing,
seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local
health authority.
Keep up to date on the latest COVID-19 hotspots (cities or local areas where
COVID-19 is spreading widely). If possible, avoid traveling to places – especially if
you are an older person or have diabetes, heart or lung disease.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. Our crews always
wear the appropriate PPE to respond to any situation, which can include, but is not
limited to, masks, goggles, Tyvek suits, gloves.
We have expert knowledge of chemicals and only use the highest classification for disinfectants approved by the EPA to combat human coronavirus and emerging pathogens.
We keep up to date and always follow CDC and WHO guidelines and recommendations for cleaning and disinfecting against a virus.
